Our quality production can hold flatness tolerances to -0 to +.100.  Our flat board thickness is sanded to within +.005/-.015 of your specifications.  We are also able to produce angle cuts for your tapered panel specifications.

With veneer from suppliers that only meet our specifications, Burkel Inc. can lay up panels of wood from our standard varying thickness from 1/8" thick to 2 3/4" thick and has the capacity to provide thickness up to 24" and more, with widths from 2" to 60" wide, and lengths from 5 1/2" to 99" long.  Curved boards can be pressed to 102" in length.  We currently press hard maple, soft maple, poplar, beech, gumwood, basswood, birch, and oak veneers but are capable of pressing any specie of veneer.
